back into it

It seems like absolutley ages since i did my last little tee but I'm back into it this week:) This little lass is brodie and she just needs some paint layers and some friends :) before i pop her up in the shop. I'm off camping again this weekend ( gotta make the most of the sun while it's here) so it will probably be late next week that she'lll make an appearance.

I usually paint and sew whilst the little man is snoozing. My little apprentice is always by my side helping out though. Ahhh the creative energy ....

softie love

This was my chrissy present from santa :D Well we also got a big whopping spanking new tent to live in whilst camping over in the beautiful and very quaint Port Fairy but these were a little more exciting ;) I grew up just inland from Port fairy and gee it's changed alot! It still has a wonderful timeless quality to it and i have so many fond memories of it, especially in summer.

So i've been bitten by a little love for softies. They are so quick and so rewarding to make. Pictured is Miss Buttons from Sew your own who I was planning on giving to my friend Anna however Tully tells me that Anna doesn't need dolls, she has a robot:) Apparently Miss buttons is a perfect friend for Chibi doll. Maybe Anna might just get another Miss Buttons.:)

The books all have so many fabulous ideas and i really NEED to make so many things from them so it may be a little while until anything new appear in the shop. I do however have a trillion (well nearly) sketches from camping and relaxing that are patiently waiting for me to give them some attention but for the moment I'm enjoying the air of holiday which is lingering in our house. I hope it's lingering in yours too:)

sweet as....

talk about the money shot :) How sweet is this little shot of the tullster all dressed up and looking angelic. Take a close look at how nice her flowers look and then checkuot the last shot. lol.
The occassion was little sis lana's wedding day and my it was a lovley day. The wedding went without a hiccup _ thanks to the man with the keen eyes who saved the veil and the bride from going up in smoke. tikki, myself and our little girls were brides maids and flowergirls, along with lana's new hubby's sis and my neice demi. I have some great shots to share but don't want to go plastering pics of people over the web without permisssion so these are just some snippets.

the little rednut couldn't let the girls dance alone during the ceremony now could he!

What a princess. A big thanks to Aunty lana for letting us be princesses for the day and to aunty tikki for making tully's gorgeous dress. Saddly it didn't survive the day but is sure to be the mumber one fav dressup for sometime now.
