Our newest little pixie

Gee things have been a ball of all things snuffly, sneezy and wheezy here since we returned from holidays. Nasty colds are hanging around and new little bugs have been thrown into the mix. So hence not a lot has been achieved lately. I've slowly, slowly been working away at some things so if your waiting on something from me I promise it won't be too far away.

What I have been doing however is growing a new little pixie inside my tum. Yep another little one to join the clan. We are so super excited about it. I didn't really know how far along I was but today we went and had a look at little pixie and found our estimated due date will be around mid feb. I was going to post a pic of the scan but it's all fuzzy and stuff and I have to have a pic with a post so here's my big 4 year old as a little 5 week old. awwwwww They sure grow super fast. Tully is really looking forward to having a little sister called Barbie and Asher is in denial. Poor little man is gonna have his little world turned upside down.

In shop news Tikki and I have a very special auction up at the moment. For more info go take a peek

totally spoilt

Tully is that's who. She received heaps of wondrful presents for her birthday but this little number just takes the cake!

I was so in love when I saw Lily's oriental lily dress on Tikki's blog but knew i would never be able to knit it. Tik promised I would be able to but hey me and knitting just aren't the best of mates. I was so stoked when I found out Tully was getting her very own. It suits her beautifully and is so warm and snug AND Tully can even be persuaded to where a pair of jeans with it. Unheard of!

Thanks tik! Can you make even bigger sizes now? I want a version too!

Oh yeah and Asher also got some woolies from Tik too! Some new and much needed longies AND some old ones got a revamp and extension. spoilt I tell ya!!!!

a birthday fit for a princess

We're back from a much needed catch up with family and friends and a very special little birthday celebration. Lots of fun was had by all but especially the little folk of the family. All up Tully had 3 separate birthday celebrations with different family members. On her actual birthday we went to Fairy Park in Anakie just out of Geelong with sweet little cousin Lily and Aunty tik. Tikki and Lily had visited previously and had given it a big thumbs up and it sounded like the perfect place to spend a princess loving little girl's big day.

Tuly took along her own little plastic princess and happily dragged her around by the hair all day to show to all the other princesses.

We also had our own little rose red and snow white with us. Brrrr...it was cold up there!

Little man discovered the gingerbread house which was one of my favourite displays. Although it wasn't nearly as gruesome as some of our Hansel and Gretel picture books.

We finished off with a very extensice play at the playground which is one of the best ever. Rainbow dragons, little tunnels and crazy mushroom swings were the perfect way to finish off a great day.

It's always great to catch up with our families but one of the truly wonderful things is to see the absolute ball both Tully and Lily have in each others company. Sure they have there disagreements every now and then but generally they are just absolute little princesses.

pixies are up and flying

Oscar and Lillian are up ready for some little person to love and cherish right now. Gee it was a battle getting shots of them today with crazy winds and crazy kids!

We're off for a break across the border tomorrow for a bit so I'll be awol for awhile. Whilst I'm gone a very special collaboration between tikki and I will be up for auction. It's up previewing at the moment so take a peep if you like.

Mr. Percival

Well Mr.Percival is all done and up in the shop I'm very happy with how he's turned out and hopefully someone else will be too:D

I've also got a few pixies waiting their turn for a bit of attention. They will be up before the weeks end. We're off across the border for a brief catch up with family and friends and to celebrate the big 4 for the Tullster so I've got to sell, sell, sell to help pay for the crazy costs of petrol (and my planned visit's into many country oppie's along the way). At least the rain is bucketing down and we are housebound so I am being quite efficient today and my list of things to finish before Thursday is getting shorter!

on my desk....

How staged does this shot look.... well I wanted to show off what I was planning to do today. So here it is.

A couple of tee's. The top one's a pelican that I'm loving the look of. Pelican's are one of my fav birds. It's so sad the effect the failing river Murray is having on the life of these and so many other birds and wildlife. Sure they aren't a threatened species at the moment but I hate to think what sort of future they have with such a stuffed up environment. sigh....

The other two are gifts for some little girl we will be seeing soon. More matryoshka's!!!

Some nappies that I purchased to gift to some expectant mum's who plan on using cloth. Yay for cloth bum bubba's:D They were seconds (i'm not sure why) so I have to remove the tags that have been half chopped off. Great nappies to help start some little people's stashes.

And lastly a litle knitting project I finished last night and just have to sew in the end bits. Little, as it's just a scarf for Tully. Yep I'm not a knitter. Can't follow the gibberish, but I really like to just knit. That's it though. Just plain garter stitch with no increases, short rows, k2tog or any of that crazy language. I was pretty stoked with my little effort. Tully tried it on this morning and promptly told me it was too tight. Now really... And then I saw this post from my sis and well I just felt a little less proud. Shesh...how come she got all the knitting talent. Blimey! And to top it off I just noticed when pasting the link how much it matches the matryoshka's I made for Tully for her birthday. waaaaaaaa!
