tee's are up

I finally found some sunshine and the tee's are up and previewing now. They'll go live tomorrow night at 9pm. Polly Dolly is actually the sketch and inspiration behind the softie
polly dolly I made a couple of months ago. I still haven't found the time to try another version but hope to very soon.



I've made a range of sizes from 00 to 2 and have used up most of my stock of tee's. I won't be purchasing the brand I normally use due to some recent developments in the company, I don't really want to support them anymore. So I'm after some new tee's to use. I'd prefer fair trade and i'd love organic cotton as well but that may be dreaming as I would also love them to be very affordable and have a nice cut for little girls as well. Any suggestions?

spring fever

It's almost like I have spring fever. No I'm not cleaning though. No way, who wants to do that! I'm too busy "making".

I've finished all the pixies from the last post and have popped the last two up in the shop today. Dacey and Sookie. Can you spot them in the picture below? This is my desk today with a few little tee's in progress. The pixies are covering up two so I don't spoil the surprise and the other two are for the shop.



Somemore pixies are also on the way, along with a couple of dresses. Busy I tell you!

a tee for lily

it's been a while since i've made something for the little rainbow girl and as her Mum helps me out so much thought i best do her something a bit different. Tully loves it that i made a tee like hers for Lily and thinks Lily has to come and play now...pity she lives so far away.

I really like how fresh it looks on the white. Have been finding it hard to find bonds stripey's latley so i might do a few pixies andother things onthe white for a change. The colours are actually really vibrant but i'm still without my trusty old camera and the one we have borrowed isn't very flash. The pics always look so washed out.

a tee for tully

i have been wanting to make this tee for ages and decided i better bite the bullet and do it or tully would never have things made for her. I'm not totally happy with it but it's ok for the first one. I'm going to make one for the rainbow girl lily and change/refine a few things and then i think i might do one to sell. Well after i reduce the huge list of other things i have to do.

I appliqued some felt and material on first and then painted the dollie and sewed on the ricrac and buttons and hairties. For the life of me i couldn't get the stitch down the centre of the ric rac. Might scrap it for the next one, even thoughi know lily's mum loves ric rac.

Tully absolutely loves it and was busting to put it on. She calls it her tully dolly and makes everyone pat it.
Next the apron needs to be sewn up. We baked today and tully had no apron to wear.
